The Building

The entire layout of The Penthouse covers 5940 square feet. There is a private entrance elevator, as well as a very wide stairwell into the house.

The Penthouse sits atop the Kanaal Steeg Building, on the 4th floor. There are hurricane protection panels for the covered terrace and all windows and doors are double glazed for insulation and wind protection.

The house has 3 bedrooms, an office or live-in maid quarters, 4 bathrooms, a large terrace, fully stocked bar, a very large master bedroom and living room.

Ceramic tile, imported from Italy, covers all floor space in The Penthouse.

The 119 square foot utility room houses a washer, dryer, ice machine and general storage area.

There is also a 15KW, 3 phase generator with automatic transfer switch, that can supply complete power for the entire house. All rooms are air conditioned with split a/c units mounted on the roof. A 6 foot all purpose antennae dish sits on the roof and can be used for cable as well high speed digital connections.

The Penthouse property comes with a local N. V. (business license) and a liquor license. The Penthouse was a fully functioning, exclusive night club, before being converted to a private home.
